Ueda had shielded Jun from the bullet and got hit himself in the back, right beside his heart.

He was lying in Juns lap; blood dripped on the floor, turning everything red.

Ryo had already run away and Jin and Koki had run after him.

Ueda coughed blood and Jun cried, “U-Ueda!”

Ueda shaken and tried to touch Juns face, Jun grabbed his hand and kissed it, “Ueda... BAKA!”

Ueda tried to smile, but coughed blood up instead, “J-J-Ju...”

“You’re going to be okay, everything is going to be fine.”

Ueda shake his head, “n-no…my h-heart...”

“N-No! There will soon come help, somebody will come…Y-You said you could handle more than o-other could.”

Ueda closet his eyes a few seconds, before he opened them again and said with a low voice, “I told you…I got poisoned and should d-die anyways; we couldn’t do a-anything…”

“U-Ueda! You told me you would stay and protect me forever; you have to keep your promise!”

“I already did, the danger is gone, and nothing can hurt you anymore; you’re safe…”

Junno couldn’t see anything because of the tears, “p-please…d-don’t leave m-me.”

A bright light blew out in the room and bathed the dark room in a second with warm light; when Junno looked down at Ueda again…he had wings.

Beautiful white wings attached to Uedas bloody back; they moved slowly to an invisible wind.

White feathers flew around in the room, like little candles; Junno looked down at Uedas beautiful face.

It was pale, but full of care and love, his eyes lighted up a beautiful brown color; like the deep and mighty ocean. He smiled at Junno; Junno looked shocked at the wings and back at Ueda.

“Y-You…”

“Wings, I know, sorry; I didn’t get to tell you…when a protector dies, they get wings and…disappear.”

Junno kissed Uedas purple and cold lips that once were red and full; Uedas life was slipping away.

“P-Please, stay with me; I love you!”

“I cant, it’s my destiny to die, and I did what I had to do…”

“Ueda!”

Junno holded Ueda tight, afraid to let him go and never be able to see him again, “please…”

Ueda whispered with a low voice in Juns ear, with the last strength in his body,

“I love you…”

And then, Ueda disappeared in a bright light, the light filled the room and bathed it in its warmness; when Junno looked down, Ueda was gone and only a single white feather was left in his hands.

He could still feel Uedas warm touch on his face and his warm body against his chest; tears fell down his face and stained his shirt, he cried in silence. He could still see Uedas beautiful face; it lighted up in his mind and said, “I’ll always love you”

Koki and Jin stood in the doorframe, holding each other and cried; trying to recall back all their memories and happiness they had shared with their beloved friend.

Junno could feel a heavy weight on his chest, so he couldn’t breathe; it felt like a burden on him.

He tried to calm down but it made it just worse, he wheezed for air; everything turned blurred around him. His hearth felt broken, shattered to peaces; his true love, the only person he had truly loved, was gone.

He died because he protected him, he had swore to protect him until the danger was gone; the danger disappeared and so did his lover.

Junno knew his life would never be the same again, he had lost something in his hearth that he would never get back; he would try to go on, but it would be difficult and almost impossible.

He looked up in the air and whispered, “I’ll remember you forever, Ueda; and I will only love you and no one else, my angel.”

Song: SS501 – Stand By Me

It had been two years since the incident happened in the warehouse, where Ueda had protected Junno from the danger and had died in the process; but he took the Jacuzzi and Ryo with him, Junno were safe, but he would never be the same.

Kat-tun had decided to keep their name and had said no to a new member; they staid as they were and kept on producing music and dramas.

Junno, Jin and Koki decided to tell the media, Kame and Maru that Ueda were in a car accident and his body had been frozen down; for medical experience and their research in ‘waking dead back from the dead’.

The media took it pretty calm they asked a few questions and made banners for the passed away member of Kat-tun.

Kame and Maru took it bad, they cried and spaced out for days after the news; but they weren’t as bad as Junno were.

Junno never left his unbreakable shell, he staid inside of it for those two years; he participated in all Kat-tuns activities, but weren’t so effective in any of it.

His friends and fellow members tried there hardest to make Junno get out of his shell, but it was impossible.

If they mentioned Uedas name in front of him, Junno would space out and stay in his apartment for days; without answering his phone or answered the door when it rang.

He was never the same after that night, where his only lover left him, trying to protect him.

Junno stood by the ocean, leaning against the fence where him and Ueda stood their last night together; he could still remember Uedas beautiful face and his warm hand, holding his own.

It was the same time, when he stood and watched the sundown; the sky was yellowish-orange and the sun was on the way down under the ocean.

A warm breeze blew his hair around, he closet his eyes, trying to remember Uedas warm touch on his face.

He felt a presence of another person behind him, he opened his eyes but didn’t turn around; he didn’t want to see the person, whoever it was.

“You don’t want to see me? After all we’ve been through?”

That voice...

It was impossible to mistake, the same warm and soft voice; it flowed beautifully in the air, it sounded almost like...

Junno turned around, quick as lightning, and sore the person he had missed for two long years.

Ueda?

Ueda stood in front of him, the beautiful pale skin, the red lips, the dark eyes and the perfect smooth black hair; that moved smoothly with the wind.

He made a little smile and laid his head to one side, the cute way Junno loved; that made him look like a puppy.

Junno stood frozen to the ground, he couldn’t believe what he sore, or even what he was thinking.

Ueda was dead, he knew that; he sore him disappear in a bright light; how could he still be alive?

“What’s wrong?”

Junno snapped out of his shell, he ran quickly towards Ueda and lifted him up in his arms; he laughed while throwing-playfully-Ueda around over his head, Ueda laughed.

Junno lowered Ueda down and pulled him into a hug; they stood like that in what felt as hours.

Ueda pulled away and kissed eagerly Junno on the lips, Junno could feel the missing piece in his heart, get replaced; the shell he had build up for two years broke down, and revealed all the light inside of him.

He pulled Ueda away and studied him from top to toe, Ueda smiled, “I don’t miss any parts, don’t worry.”

Junno smiled, he could feel the tears come up in his eyes; Ueda placed Junnos face between his hands and kissed him lightly on the nose, “don’t cry.”

“W-What happened?”

“I don’t know.”

“H-How can you still be a-alive?”

“Everything happened as you sore, I disappeared and died; but... I didn’t know, Guardians don’t disappear when they die...”

“What happens?”

“After a few years, we return back to earth, as humans, normal people and will live a normal life until we die a natural death.”

“S-So you’ll stay?”

“I promised you, remember? I promised to stay and protect you, and I will.”

Junno kissed Ueda on the lips, enjoying the taste of Uedas filled lips; he pulled away again and looked deep into his eyes.

“What’s wrong?”

“I thought you were dead, I thought you would never return, that you left me...”

“Baka! I will never leave you, never in life or death.”

Junno smiled, Ueda continued, “I’ll make you a promise, I promise to stay with you forever, in life and death, nothing will separate us, I promise.”

Junno reached out for something in his pocket and pulled out a small red box, he opened it and inside there laid two silver rings; one of them was smooth and inside there stood Love You.

The other ring looked the same, and was also made of one part, it was smooth and had little carvings on the edges; inside there stood Love You forever.

He took the ring with the carvings on the side up of the box and reached out for Uedas left hand; the size was perfect and sat perfect on Uedas finger.

Junno took the other ring and placed it on his own finger, he looked into Uedas eyes and said, “I will also promise, we’ll stay together and I’ll protect you. I love you, will you marry me?”

Ueda looked at Jun for a long time, studying every part of his face; his long brown hair, the big eyes, the long face.

He smiled, “yes.”

The two lovers hugged each other in their embrace, kissing each other; the sun disappeared down in the ocean, but the two lovers love didn’t.

It was their destiny to stay together, forever; nothing would be able to separate them.

They had been through a lot, to get to where they were now; but in the end, they finally got together and made a promise for each other.

The two rings represent the love and bond between them, as long they exist, their love will always be there, truly.
