Ueda and Jun had decided to go shopping the next day, it was a Wednesday, the sun was shinning and they had already free at four o’clock.

“Where do you want to go next?” Asked Ueda, Jun thought for a bit before replying, “I want to go down to the (havn), there should be really beautiful at night.”

“Okay! Sounds good.”

It was only eight o’clock, but the sky was already slight pink and yellow; Ueda and Jun leaned up against a fence, right under them, they could hear the waves splash up on the wall.

“It’s beautiful…”

“Yeah, isn’t it? I used to go up here when I was a child, when I didn’t want to be with my friends and family.”

“Really? I didn’t know that, you never told me anything.”

“I didn’t want to, it was something private...”

“Then why did you say it now, and to me?”

“Because I wanted to.”

“...”

“Ueda?”

“Yes?”

“Do you feel anything special towards me?”

“W-What do you mea-”

“-I mean like... Like that night, we were together, do you love me?”

“I-I...”

“Oh... You don’t?”

“No, no! I didn’t mean that! I just didn’t know what to say.”

“So? Do you love me?”

“Yes-”

Junno pulled Ueda into a deep kiss, Ueda closet his eyes, letting his feelings run.

Jun wrapped his arms around Ueda, pulling him closer to his body to share their body heat.

They broke off and Ueda said, “I love you, Jun.”

Jun smiled, “I love you too.”

They stood hand in hand; watching the ocean; when a voice said, “Well, Well. Isn’t this just sweet? Two love birds watching the sun go down?”

Ueda turned around and sore Ryo behind them, with a big grin on his face.

“R-Ryo!”

“Hey there, Princess. How are you?”

“What are you doing here?” Asked Jun and grabbed Uedas hand, holding it tight.

“Just walking a bit, until my walk was disturbed by you and your ugly boyfriend.”

“Who do you call ´ugly´, Asshole?”

“Jun...” Whispered Ueda, but Jun didn’t hear him; why was Jun so angry?

“You and your... thing beside you.” Ryo laughed, enjoying his moment.

“Come over here and say it in my face again, if you dare!”

Junnos fist was closet and ready to attack Ryo, if necessary.

“Calm down, Jun. It’s just Ryo.”

But Ueda was scared too, he didn’t sense Ryo before, which means that his reaction skills was bad; and they could be in danger any moment because he couldn’t sense the danger.

“Jeah, but I don’t like him.”

“Me either.”

“What are you two lovebirds doing out here in the middle of the night?”

“Just walking around.”

“You should be more careful, you could run into bad people out here; expect ally with your boyfriend.”

“What are you talking about, Ryo?” Asked Ueda, he could sense the danger, and it didn’t feel good.

“Just saying, that you could attract dangerous people out here.” Ryo reached inside his jacket, Ueda immediately sore what he was doing and pulled Jun to the side.

“WATCH OUT!”

BANG

Jun and Ueda had missed the bullet right in time, they were hidden behind old boxes; looking for Ryo.

“Damn! What is Ryo trying to do, to kill us? And why does he have a gun?”

“I don’t know, but it’s nothing good; follow me.”

Ueda leaded the way, crawling on the ground, and was being careful not to get seen by Ryo.

“Where are you?” Called Ryo out playfully.

“Where are we going?” Whispered Jun, Ueda pointed at an old warehouse; Jun took his hand, he was scared, Ueda tried to pull up a smile to calm down Jun, but it was almost impossible.

What is Ryo doing? Why does he want to kill us?

They sneaked over to the warehouse, and walked close up to the wall, trying not to get discovered.

“I found you!”

BANG

Ueda pushed Jun into safety, in the warehouse, or so he thought.

He closets the door behind him and sighted, “we are safe...”

Why would Ryo want us dead? Unless...

“I don’t think so.”

Ueda spun around and sore no less than the Jacuzzi, Mr. Nishikido, standing in front of them, with his entire group, more than fifty; Ryo came up behind the Jacuzzi and smiled, “surprise.”

...Ryo was the son of the Jacuzzi, Mr. Nishikido; it was a trap!

“Ryo...”

“Surprising isn’t it? I thought the same when I heard that you were the Protector of Jun. How’s it going? Still fighting the poison?”

“Ueda? What is he talking about? What’s going on?” Asked Jun that was confused.

“Oh! Of course you didn’t tell him because you aren’t allowed to! Well, how does it feel to know that you are soon going to die?”

“...”

“Ueda! What is going on, what is he talking about?”

Ueda looked at Jun; he looked both really scared and calm on the same time.

“I’m sorry, Jun; I should have told you a long time ago...”

“Told me wh-”

“WATCH OUT!”

BANG BANG BANG BANG

Ueda pulled Jun to the side, behind some boxes; he pulled out a gun, from nowhere and began shooting back at the gangsters.

“AH!” Jun covered his ears and closets his eyes; Ueda sore it and holded Juns hand.

“Everything is going to be okay, you’re just a little shocked, it will go over in a minute or two.”

“W-Where did you get the g-gun from?”

“My jacket-pocket.”

“I-I don’t get any-”

Ueda kept on firing back while talking, “I’m sorry that I haven’t told you this before... There is a secret organization that protects people that have been market as a target; I’m one of those that protect people, such as you... We are called Protectors, Guardians or Angels...”

“Angels...” Mumbled Jun, “Why are you protecting me?”

“Because you had been market as a target for this Jacuzzi, Nishikido.”

“Why didn’t I kno-”

BANG

“You’re not allowed to know such things, if the Head Quarters find out, I’m dead.”

“Why am I a-”

“Your family got killed when you were young, right...? Your family was targeted a long time ago, to be killed, and it succeeded; but the PHS managed to save you... Until this time, we have been trying to track down the Jacuzzi and kill him...”

“And who kill-”

BANG

“The one that killed your family... Was Mr. Nishikido”

“...”

“I’m sorry...”

“Don’t be, I didn’t know; then when did you-”

BANG

“I was ordered in to protect you, when they heard that you were the only one alive... They put me on the job, to protect you since you started in The Johnnys...”

BANG

“So this is all just a job?”

BANG

“No, I took the job because I also liked music, then it would be easier for me to fall into the environment; but my feelings for you are the same as I said before, I still love you.”

“Ueda?”

“Yes?”

“Please kill them all...” Ueda sore the pain in Juns eyes, he nodded.

BANG

“If I have to, then I need backup, take my cell phone in my back pocket.”

Jun searched for the pocket, and took out the cell, “and what?”

“Call Jin and Koki!”

BANG

“Why?”

“They are Protectors too, they can help us.”

“Who are the-”

BANG

“Jin protects Kame, and Koki protects Maru.”

While Jun called, Ueda kept shooting the men, which kept on moving closer to there hiding place.

He aimed and shot, aimed and shot; one fell, two fell, another fell.

BANG

“FUCK!”

“W-What?”

“They’re coming closer! Did you make the call?”

“Yes, they are on their way!”

“Okay, HEY!”

He pulled Juns head down behind their covers just as a bullet flew over their heads.

“You have to stay down! Else I cannot protect you!”

“Sorry, but I want to help.”

BANG

“No! I cannot kill and protect and look out for you at the same time, it’s too dangerous!”

“You can’t take them down on your own!”

BANG

“I have to...”

“You can’t...”

“I’m trained to do such things, don’t worry...”

BANG

Ueda sore the men moving closer towards them, he kept on shooting and men fell on the ground; but it was not enough. Ueda made a quick decision, “we have to move!”

“Where?”

“Somewhere safer.”

“What do you mean by more safe, aren’t we safe enough?”

BANG

Jun looked up over the boxes and sores the men moving dangerously closer to them, one man aimed and fired at Jun, but he quickly dogged behind the boxes again.

“Holy Shit!”

BANG

“Didn’t I tell you to stay down?” Yelled Ueda, he was getting desperate and there wasn’t any time for a little peek-look or anything like that.

“Sorry, just wanted to see how it looked.”

“I can describe it for you! When I count to three, we run over to the left side, there is a small room with iron doors...”

“Okay.”

BANG

“One...”

BANG

“Two...”

BANG

“Three! RUN!”

Jun leads the way, and Ueda followed, covering his back while firing at the men.

The gangsters didn’t predict their move so they got confused and stopped for a second; it gave Ueda and Jun a change to barricade them inside the side-room.

Jun watched as Ueda locked the door, when Ueda finished, he collapsed on the ground.

“UEDA!” Jun ran over and sat beside Ueda and lifted his head up in his lap.

Ueda was pale; he was shaking and sweated a lot.

“W-What is wrong?”

“N-Nothing... I-I’m just t-tired... Need to b-breath...”

“Is it about what Ryo said? You got...poisoned?”

“Nothing to worry about... I’m f-fine.”

“Yes it is! Is it true? Did you get poisoned? Are you dying? Tell me!”

Ueda sighted, he looked up into Juns worried eyes.

“For about two months ago, I got poisoned, probably by Ryo...”

“But there is a cure, right?”

Ueda shoked his head, “no.”

“H-How long, do you h-have?”

“Few d-days...”

“God!” Jun hugged Ueda tight, holding him close into his chest, he sobbed and tears was in his eyes.

“I don’t want to loose you, Ueda! I love you!”

“I love you too, Jun...”

You could hear the gangsters outside, trying to break the door in; Ueda looked once at the door and then at Jun.

“H-Help me up...”

“No! You can’t fight!”

“Jun, you don’t understand-”

“No, of course I don’t understand! I can’t understand why you have to go through so much because of me and I can’t understand why all this is happening to us!”

“Jun, I’m a Protector we was born much stronger than humans; we can take more than you can. Please, you got to understand; I’m here to protect you, even with my life...”

“N-No...”

“Help me up...”

“U-Ueda.”

Jun helped Ueda on his feet, so he faced the door; you could hear the loud bangs and crashes on the other side.

“The door can’t hold much longer...” Mumbled Jun, he looked at Ueda.

“Jun, I promise that I will protect you, no matter what happens. And you should know that I love you.”

“Baka! I know you do.”

Ueda showed Jun to the back of the room, and he found an iron table, turned it around and hided behind it.

Ueda took out his gun, loading it with new bullets.

I got to die anyways; I could just end it now but what about Jun? He will not survive here alone. I got to do something! End it all now and finish it.

Jun, I want you to know... that I will always love you, and you will always be in my heart.

The door broke in and fell to the floor with a loud bang; the men ran inside and fired at Ueda.

Ueda dodged most of them and shot back at them, many fell before he got a scratch.

Jun sore that Ueda was in trouble and yelled out, “UEDA!”

Ueda looked behind and sore Jun behind the cover, he dodged another bullet and screamed, “Stay down!”

Ueda felt a sudden pain strike right through him from his left side and left arm, “Ueda!”

He fired again and another fell, he knew that it couldn’t stay like that for long; it had to end.

BANG

The gangsters looked back and sore Jin with a loaded gun and a very angry face; Koki stood beside him with a red face and yelled, “Need help, U?”

Ueda smiled, “Late as always, ay?”

“You should have called earlier; Jun didn’t give us the address, damn kid!”

“Let’s get to it!”

They started firing at the same time; the gangsters got over rumbled and was soon covered in bullets and laid on the floor.

Finally, there was quiet, not one man dared to speak; until Jun stood up and walked over to Ueda.

“Is it over?”

Ueda looked relieved at him, “Yes, it is over.”

Koki and Jin left the room, to search for Ryo and his father; there was a shy silence between Jun and Ueda.

Jun was about to say something when Ueda turned around and began collecting the guns from the dead bodies.

Suddenly a dark shadow stood in the doorway, Ueda looked up in shock and sore Ryo; he had a gun in his hand and pointed at Jun, Jun hadn’t seen him and just stood in his own thoughts.

Ueda did the only thing that his mind was capable of thinking, “JUN!”

Jun turned and sore Ryo, he was too slow to dodge the bullet.

Ueda ran towards Jun, Ryo fired.

BANG

Juns eyes widened, Ueda stood in front of him, holding Juns face between his hands, he had hurt eyes; “J-J-Ju-Ju...”

He breathed once and collapsed on the floor, “UEDA!”
